01 / Website visit

Accessing the website and server logs

When you visit www.eamm.eu, data needed for technical reasons is transferred between your device and our web server. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the page or file requested, the HTTP status, information about your browser and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer, if transmitted).

We process this data to deliver the website, ensure its secure operation and identify technical errors or attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating a functional and secure website.

Server access logs are deleted after two weeks.

02 / Technical operation

Hosting and backups

EAMM operates this website itself. Only people responsible for its technical operation or maintenance have access to the data generated in that process.

We create website backups so that we can restore the site after technical problems. Where backups contain personal data, we process it only for this purpose. Backups are deleted or overwritten after two weeks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the availability and security of the website.

03 / Contact

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address, your name if provided, your message and related communication data. We use this information to handle your enquiry and reply. Your message may be forwarded to the appropriate person within the association for this purpose.

If your enquiry concerns membership or another possible agreement with us, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract). For general enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to enquiries.

We retain correspondence until the matter is closed. We then delete it unless statutory retention obligations apply or continued storage is necessary to manage an existing legal relationship. Providing an email address is voluntary, but we cannot reply without a way to contact you.

04 / Cookies

Cookies and WordPress login

We currently do not use cookies for audience measurement, advertising or profiling on publicly accessible pages. A cookie banner for those purposes is therefore not currently required.

When you use the WordPress administration area, technically necessary cookies may be stored to enable login, maintain your session and remember display settings. These cookies are used only for the service requested. Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications-Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) applies to technically necessary access to information on your device.

05 / User accounts

Administration accounts

For people with access to the WordPress administration area, we process the data required for their account, in particular their username, email address, a hash of their password, permissions and login information. This enables secure website administration. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Account data is deleted when access is no longer needed, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

06 / External services

No analytics or advertising services

The website currently does not embed external maps, videos, web fonts, social media plugins, analytics or advertising services. The images, fonts and scripts needed to display the site are served from our website. The functions described here are not intended to transfer visitor data to providers of such services or to third countries.

07 / Your rights

Access, correction and erasure

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access your data (Article 15 GDPR), have it corrected (Article 16 GDPR), erased (Article 17 GDPR), or have its processing restricted (Article 18 GDPR), and the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR). You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests under Article 21 GDPR.

If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect. To exercise your rights, simply email info@eamm.de.

Under Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place in connection with this website.
